I just wanna know whether on par of expanding networking knowledge in almost any direction(i.e., network security,Voip, routing & switching) , u should pay attention to the general technical skills abt networking which is obvious , having said that , HOW important is it to have a in depth knowledge of one or more NOS (UNIX,LINUX,NetWare ,MWS 2003) , if so what should i opt for the above NOS and best u can suggest
I want to go for LINUX where i can go with RHCE also
plzzz suggest
Thanks

NOS understanding is helpful but not essential. FreeBSD is probably an ok starting point.
