Restart ScreenOS via WebGUI
« on: January 16, 2009, 02:26:37 am »
Hi,

I am trying to find out if it is possible to just do a restart of a SSG5 via the WebGUI ("reset" using CLI but via WEB).

TIA
/Emil

Hi
You can do so by clicking on :
Update
        ScreenOS/Key
At the very bottom of this page click on "Reset"

Hi,

Are you sure of this, since I do not want to loose the current configuration as in an "unset all". Could not find whether this was a "factory reset" reset or just a reboot reset in the online documentation.

Thanks for your input

Yes this is the correct place to reboot the SSG, weird place to put it!

Its correct, thats one of the buttons few people dare to push. Still don't understand why netscreen didn't just call it "reboot" :)
