Policy on posting exam info
« on: July 16, 2003, 07:13:31 pm »
These forums are not generally moderated, however, I removed the post which had test questions in it.  I'm all for not censoring anything, ever.  But, in this case, there was material posted which could dilute the value of having a NetScreen certification, which is likely not agreeable to NetScreen, and certainly not agreeable to the people who have already worked hard to get their certification.

I have not taken the exam, and I'm not sure how Netscreen feels about people talking about the test.  But, I know Cisco makes you sign a Non-disclosure agreement that you will not talk about the test at all, if they catch you, they revoke your certification.

By knowing what's on the test, you can focus directly on particular topics and take your chances on things that might be less likely to be on the test.  The whole point of the certification is written verification that you know almost everything there is to know about the product, not just the *exact* questions that are going to be on the test.

Please respect this in future posts.  You may talk about the tests, but for those that have taken it, please use your best judgement before posting.

Thanks, however this post is not my own.

That's why this has been decided to have moderator role in this forum : avoid this type of post.

Exam material is paid material.  So if you post it here, you are basically ripping off the designer of the course material.  And it's not fair for all the others that paid good money for that.

Just my $0.02.

I agree on the part concerning copyright and distributing Q&A from the exam.
On the other hand there isn't much testmaterial at hand.
I myself took the ISNG course but would like to see some more testing material. Not taken from the official exam but just questions like in the studyguide from NS, to test yourself and to get a grasp of what they are going to ask you.
Compared to Cisco and Microsoft there isn't much material around to guide you to the official exam.

Regards,

Michel

Good work signal15.

I do want to add something more for the people who are aspiring for NetScreen certifications, don't go for unfair means. I you are good enough to understand basics of Networking and hacking, you will get the certification paper as a piece of cake.

Thanks,
Naveen

I agree that no one should public exam materials. But if you kindly to send me (in private) to study and get your experiences, it will be appriciated.

I am from Vietnam, and we have not much information regarding this certifications and materials.
thanks

Training for JNCIA is a better take if you want a good inside look of NetScreen, or else assist someone on a project who knows NetScreen better, dumps can make you certified but no way you be called an Expert.

I have been working with the SSG5 and SSG550's now for almost 8 months. I'm interested in the JNCIA-FWV cert, but am frustrated at finding material to review for this course. I have found two sources have have some potential, Bosen and Testking. I have read mostly bad reviews of TestKing, so my question to you all is Have any of you used TestKing? How do you rate TestKing material?

I used Jason Ha's JNCIS-FWV study guide and I passed both the JNCIA and JNCIS fairly easily.
