Hi,
I installed steel belted radius, i configure my routers 3COM,5680 & 5231,to support the authentication. In radius, I configure a user as an administrator. The authentication succeed and i can connect to the router, but the problem is that this user can't see nor modify any thing in the router even if his level is administrator.
I make the same configuration with 3COM switchs and i haven't this problem.
What i must do?Huh? huh

Thanks for help

Problem will be your router it seems (we maybe doesn't understand the radius attributes), there your switch doesn't have the problem.

Check which attributes your 3com router supports.

Hi toip2007,

I need your help !!

I'm using SBR for my 3com switchs.

I created a native user to connect into my switchs and it works.

But, the 3com switchs I use are configured with the super command.

So, when I'm connecting on the switch, I must type : super and the associated password to change or write the configuration.

I would configure SBR in order to enter in the switch with the administrator rights.

I saw an interresting parameter, 3com-User-Access-Level, I can choose between Administrator, Manage or Monitor but I can't enter my super password.

Could you me help me to solve my problem, please ?

Thanks a lot,
