Clearing Alarms
« on: January 26, 2017, 10:14:16 am »
Hi,

I have an SSG350M which somebody in the team attempted to access multiple times inputting the wrong password, now when I'm on the CLI I continually get

ALARM [ID 1]: Multiple login failures occurred for...
ALARM [ID 1]: Multiple login failures occurred for...
ALARM [ID 1]: Multiple login failures occurred for...
and on, and on.....

Filling up the screen, it's causing me issues when I'm using it. Can anyone tell me how to clear the alarm notification?

Many thanks.

Hi Monkfish,

I finally managed to clear these alarms on my firewall. Here's how I did it.

1. Use “get alarm security all” the "ACK ID: " is what you should look for.
2. Use "exec alarm ack-id" to acknowledge the alarm with the ID shown in previous command.
