Disabling Netbios
« on: April 29, 2016, 03:31:33 pm »
Hi Everyone,

I apologize if this question may have already been answered, however I wasn't able to find what I was looking for. I'm fairly new to the Juniper side of things but I'm looking to see if anyone would have a recommendation on how to disable/filter netbios traffic on entering an EX3300. I have read about the command "edit protocol lldp netbios-snooping" however, I'm not sure if that will do what I'm looking for. It appear that it will just check to see if anyone has that netbios name currently to avoid duplication.

Would it be better to have an ACL created to filter out that protocol?

Thanks for any input on this.
