Htttp traffic compression
« on: May 10, 2008, 09:14:19 pm »
 Hi everybody,
We are testing WXC 250 for http compression, the average compression percent is ~ 20%. What can be done to optimize the compression average?

Enabled ones are compression / decompression and
Network Sequence Caching.
Nearly all applications are chosen in application filter.
Tunnel mode - IP Comp.

In application filter list removed all applications except http.
Now compression is ~30% for download and ~50 for upload.
