Has anyone had issues with the in-line IDP's in the ISG platform

Yes - I've had an ISG 2000 with an IDP blade that was running fine then after a policy push has just not been able to load its IDP config.  All attempts to resucitate have so far failed.  See my recent article.

I also find the tuning capabilities are not very granular.  I would like to change settings for individual attacks, but can only do it at the attack grouping level - very annoying.  I'm not impressed so far.

How do you guys activate the IDP rules on the ISG 2000 with IDP...

After creating policies for the IDP..how to push it..without compromising the FW rules defined.

My fear is that , the FW rules might be overwritten..
