Hi
Can someone pleae summerize the whole idea of virtual systems and what do they do
and a brief example of configuring them as well

Virtual systems are essentially a seperate virtual firewall system.  They use VLAN tagging to differentiate what packets go where.  You can configure the vsys' to talk to other vsys' as well.  They have pretty much all of the same functions of the root firewall system (except for syslog and a few other things).

one additional note, you don't HAVE to use vlan tagging. ip classification can also be used but not preferrred

We are planning to replace our 3 firewalls with a pair of ISG 2000 with VSYS's. I have never worked with VSYS before. Can you suggest guide/configuration example/best practices etc?
