Host checker not detecting Java client
« on: April 08, 2013, 11:35:24 am »
Since updating Java to v7 update 17 the host checker throws up a message saying Java not installed ! Is there some setting I have to change in something?
As well as a download Jave link the site I am using gives me an option of Try later - which gets me in to my remote work server but I suspect tries to load Java in the background and keeps stopping my work so I have to reconnect to my remote desktop.

I then tried using Chrome and that had no problem using the host checker (I assume) or detecting Java more to the point. However, when I get to the page where I get a link to my Remote Desktop clicking that didn't do anything. So, any idea what settings I should use for Chrome?
