Juniper Switch assign static ip
« on: February 28, 2013, 01:08:03 am »

First of i'm new here and have just been working with Juniper since a week. so sorry if I'm being difficult to follow.

Now I want to monitor a switch (Ex3300) with zenoss core but now the switch needs a static ip to be seen at all.
I have tried this multiple times but i still does not work (cant ping anywhere "ping: send to: can't assign requested address).
So I think I have set the ip address on the wrong interface to be working and i have got no clue with interface it should be on.

I have used the following command:

edit ethernet-switching-options secure-access-port interface all static-ip x.x.x.x. mac x:x:x:x:x:x vlan 10
