How to change NSMXpress root password
« on: October 07, 2011, 06:13:21 am »
Hello,

during an installation process I set an admin password, root password, super password and nsm password. Regulary I use admin and root passord (for SSH), admin password for web access, I know, that from webinterface I can change super password and admin password. But how can I change root password?? Is it also through web GUI or from CLI??

Hi,

you can use admin password as root password.    At the admin login console you have to type   "sudo su -" commmand it will ask you password.

put your admin password and then you will get root console.
