Multicast Routing for VLANS
« on: November 01, 2010, 02:07:23 am »
I want to broadcasting video streaming in my network. My topology is The video server IP is 10.248.11.1/ 24 and it's located at VLAN 10 while the receiver is all the computers is in VLAN 5,4,3. I use 239.255.100.100 for the multicast IP.

I have configured intervlan routing in EX3200 switch and PIM with dense mode for all interfaces. When I try to broadcast video with VLC, the PC ( receiver ) is located in same vlan with video server ( VLAN 10 ) able to receive video streaming from video server but the receiver located at another vlans cannot receive it ?

is there anyone can advice me ? Please :)
