Hello to great community,

First of all, i'm newbee to juniper firewalls, i have SSG-320 ScreenOS 6.x firewall, and 3 Servers at datacenter, i need to put juniper front of web servers at first to block ddos (syn) attacks specially.

I have /28 subnet (255.255.255.240),

How I to configure the firewall at this scenario,
Transparent mode, or One ip to untrust and servers to DMZ port, or what else?

Thanx for any advice, i mixed up for right configuration.

Hi,
i would prefer to use 2 different subnets.
One on the untrust, the other on the untrust/dmz zone.

many greets
thorsten
