NSM and Cisco porducts
« on: April 25, 2010, 03:43:02 pm »
Hi everyone,

I would like to know if NSM can receive syslog logs from Cisco switches and routers. I also would like to know if NSM can monitor Cisco products via SNMP protcol.

Thanks.

Negative.  STRM can receive syslogs from any network device.  SNMP monitoring is provided by neither NSM nor STRM.

Hi Aweck,

That's what I was thinking, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks a lot for your reply.
