Does anyone know of a good way about ow to convert an SSG320 configuration to an SRX240?

There is a tool on Juniper's website which will help, though it's based on earlier code (most changes in NAT area so that stuff won't be correct). But it should get you addressing, routing. etc pretty close.

that tool can only help you some basic commands converted but its not recommended to follow up.

suggestion is to download the copy of your existing screenos config then
map it with the commands thru JUNOS Guide..not with the tool.

we tried the tool but there are lots of problems on the conversion.

we resorted to do it from the scratch..much easier to troubleshoot
